ABOUT ME
My name is Julie Mercadante and I am a licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Juniper Speech Therapy, LLC in Phoenix, AZ. I am a holistic Speech-Language Pathologist and feel that it is important to look at the WHOLE body when treating Myofunctional, Speech and Feeding Disorders. I look forward to getting to help your child grow and thrive!
MY EXPERIENCE
Morris Speech and Language Services, LLC
In my Illinois-based private practice, I evaluated and treated children in early intervention to increase their expressive and receptive language skills, articulation abilities, social skills, oral motor skills and feeding skills.
Family Based Speech Services, LLC
In my VA/Washington DC-based private practice, I worked with children of all ages in various settings, including schools, homes and daycares. We also treated adults who had strokes, traumatic brain injuries and other neurological impairments.
Inova Home Health Care
During my time with this company, I worked with children and adults who were recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries and other neurological diagnoses. I provided cognitive, feeding and swallowing therapy to my patients in their homes.
